Our Style & Service
Capturing the emotion, romance and fun of a wedding celebration is the Henley Wedding Photography style. Because we appreciate the enormous time, trouble and effort you take with every detail of your wedding - the ceremony, the flowers, the food, the reception, your shoes and of course - your dress! Our aim and visual approach is to provide our clients with superb wedding photography with a difference that captures every detail of your magical day.
Based in Henley-on-Thames, south Oxfordshire, we are ideally located to photograph weddings throughout the South and East of England; the London region; the Midlands as well as other parts of the UK and abroad.

Two Photographers Attend Your Wedding
In order to create our special style of photography, we prefer to photograph most of our client’s wedding using two photographers rather than one.

The benefit of photographing your wedding with two photographers is that not only the pomp and circumstance of your great day is recorded, but far more of the fleeting moments and details of your wedding that are so often missed are also captured. We can also photograph you and your guests far more discreetly and quickly allowing you more time to enjoy your wedding with your family. Two photographers also provides you with alternative views of every photograph we take giving you far more variety of pictures for your album. There are options available for having one photographer at your wedding if you are having a smaller wedding or you are on a tight budget but would still like one of us to photograph you on your special day.

Complimentary Home Consultations
We believe that our clients shouldn’t have to travel to meet us in order to discuss their photography requirements. Because we are passionate about providing our clients an exceptional level of customer service we think that we should come to you rather than the other way around. Our consultations throughout are complimentary; arranged for a time that is convenient to you and the first is always without obligation. It is our promise that we will come and visit you as often as needed including the final delivery of your wedding album.

Flexible Photography
We shoot entirely to your requirements with a mixture of 'must have' set-piece formal photographs with informal reportage style pictures of you and your guests having fun.

With couples increasingly choosing winter weddings - Henley Wedding Photography comes into its own as creating stunning photography at such times of the year is literally our stock-in-trade!

Knowing how much time and effort goes into planning your wedding-day; it's the philosophy of Henley Wedding Photography to make every aspect of our service and work as easy and straightforward for our clients as possible.

Henley Wedding Photography's Gift Service
Another great product offered by Henley Wedding Photography are our Photography Gift Vouchers. This is a great new idea that allows family and friends to buy and add extra items to your chosen package - items that you would love to have but are beyond your budget:

For example: they can buy extra pages for your album; sets of mini books; a fabulous framed print or an amazing ‘wall-art’ acrylic print. All they need do is contact us; tell us which gift voucher they would like to purchase and on receipt of payment - we will send a confirmation to you of what items or services you can add to your package!

Story-Book & Traditional Wedding Book & Album Specialists
We offer spectacular printed and bound story-books by GraphiStudio of Italy. These are digitally printed to a very high standard allowing you to choose your design style and photographs that you wish to have included.

We also offer more traditional style wedding books with a deliciously contemporary twist by the renowned Australian design & album maker, Jorgensen. These albums are hand made to a very high standard indeed. Your photographs are printed on archival quality photographic paper crafted into hand-cut matts to your requirements and tastes, offering leather, wood or brushed metal covers.

We are pleased to announce we can now offer Queensberry Albums if this is your preferred choice.

Henley Wedding Photography Booking Availability
As we may be booked up to 12 months in advance (and sometimes more), it’s a good idea to contact us as soon as possible to check if we are available on the day you are planning to marry. If we are not, we will be happy to suggest other wedding photographers that we personally know and whose work we hold in high regard in order to assist you.

Henley Wedding Photography's Photographic Coverage

• We shoot an unlimited number of photographs (of which you will choose however many images you wish depending on the size of wedding book you decide to purchase from us
• A Pre-Wedding Photography Session which includes a 20x16" print surrounded by a large white border in an open metal black frame and pen for your guests to sign at your Wedding Reception, depending on the option you choose.
• Coverage of Wedding Day Preparations -both for the Bride and Groom (depending on the pricing plan you select);
• Your arrival at the Church or Place of Ceremony;
• Your Ceremony (discreetly shot without flash);
• The Reception and Wedding Breakfast; Speeches and First Dance depending on which of Henley Wedding Photography's Options you choose to opt for.

Pre-Wedding Photography Session
We highly recommend couples to book a pre-wedding or engagement shoot with us. Our pre-wedding shoot is a fun and informal session lasting about an hour about 4-6 weeks before your wedding. A great ice-breaker, it really is the best way for you to get to know us and makes a big difference when it comes to photographing you on the day. The session is fun and makes for fabulous pictures.

By the way, it's worth mentioning that photographs taken at the
pre-wedding session make fabulous presents for parents.

Your Wedding Day
The day normally begins as Duncan joins the bride and bridesmaids a couple of hours before the wedding. He photographs them getting ready whilst Steve, Sarah or Graham is with the groom and his groomsmen (depending on which type of coverage you book with us). Photographing the Bride and Groom as they both prepare, allows them to share each others experience afterwards - which is not usually possible and cannot be done with just one photographer!

We will stay with you throughout your celebrations for as long as you have arranged with us beforehand. We believe that photographing the evening party is a great way of adding more special memories to your wedding book and is always something that a bridal couple should consider when deciding what kind of photographic coverage they should choose.

Viewing Your Wedding Photographs
While you are away enjoying your honeymoon, Duncan and his team will use all their expertise, years of knowledge and experience to work hard to transform your wedding day photographs into a spectacular collection of images.

Employing sophisticated techniques, each image is individually sized and enhanced to be the best it can be. We also add different treatments such as black + white or colour toning techniques which are used to create photographs that are spectacular and unique to you. Once this work has been completed, the images will be uploaded onto our website for you to view and supplied to you on a CD-Rom.

The next option is for you to choose your photographs and provide us with a list of the images you have chosen to go into your wedding book.

Once you have provided us with the list of the photographs you wish to include, we will then get to work on designing your wedding book according to your requirements. Once that has been completed, we will then submit our designs by email to you for approval. Once approval has been given, we will then send our designs to your chosen Album maker for the production of your Book.

Making your book or album usually takes between 6 and 8 weeks. Once the completed book as been sent to us, we will then arrange a convenient time to visit you so that we can personally present your album to you.

Henley Wedding Photography's Dedicated Client Page
Once your wedding photographs have been edited and hand-finished, they are then uploaded onto your own dedicated and password protected web page for you to view. Your photographs can be viewed usually within 28 days of your wedding day.

To make the ordering and delivering of prints as hassle-free for our Bridal Couples, prints can be ordered and paid for on-line; are delivered separately, usually within 10 working days from the date of order and are sent directly to the purchaser’s home.

Booking Agreement

Once you have made the decision to choose Henley Wedding Photography to photograph your wedding, we will complete and sign a Booking Agreement Form with you.

This forms a written agreement between HWP and yourselves, detailing the services, timings, photographs, album and any additional products that you have selected and which we have promised to provide to you.

This is particularly useful as often we can be booked up to 1 year in advance making the recalling of specific details difficult by the time the time the wedding day arrives. A Booking Agreement Form and Booking Fee must be completed and paid before we can confirm your booking. This Agreement can be amended as necessary up to one month before the wedding.
