Clients’ benefit from this in a number of different ways. The most crucial is that more stunning photographs can be created in less time with two photographers than with just one. After all, what is the only complaint ever heard at a wedding? – Great wedding but the Photographer took forever!!!!

Two photographers neatly side steps this problem because more fabulous photographs are created in a lot less time than usual. This in turn allows the Bride & Groom more time to spend celebrating their wedding day with their family and friends and less in front of our cameras. Two photographers also means less stress; a much less formal photography experience and doesn’t necessarily mean much more expense.

Duncan MacBrayne ABIPP ASWPP

Henley Wedding Photography's Principal Photographer Duncan MacBrayne's passion for photography began when he was only 15 years old. A graduate of the highly respected Blackpool College of Art he began his professional career in London.

Working for several photographers as an assistant and then by way of working for the Ministry of Defence, Duncan went on to set up his own photographic studio, DMA, in London. An Associate of the prestigious British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Society Wedding and Portrait Photographers, Duncan is the proud recipient of numerous photographic industry awards gained during his 25 year career in the profession.

Duncan also worked in the Cruise Industry for several years based in the United States and the Caribbean. He then went to work in Cape Town, South Africa for 4 years. Always specialising in social portrait photography, he returned to the UK in 2005. “The only kind of work that I have ever done which has excited me every day has been my love of photography. I especially enjoy working with so many different kinds of people. For me there's simply nothing better!”

Duncan adds, “I am really excited to have created Henley Wedding Photography in such a way as to be able to offer clients a wedding photography service that is refreshing, discreet and very stylish".

Steve Dunning ABIPP ASWPP

Working alongside Duncan, Steve plays a vital role in capturing alternative views of the main formal photographs as well as making sure he photographs all the magical, unseen moments and details that helps make up a fabulous wedding day. Steve began his photographic career, joining Kodak initially as a marketing trainee before moving up into the Customer Relations department. There he helped amateurs and professionals to improve their photographic skills. Unlimited supplies and a superb studio to use for free gave him a great start to his photographic training.

Following his time at Kodak, Steve then Nikon as a Technical Manager, before being employed by British Aerospace in Saudi Arabia as a photographer for 2 years. By 1988 he was keen to go it alone, and set up Stunning Corporate Photography, shooting annual reports for UK and US companies all over the UK & Europe. An Associate of the prestigious British Institute of Professional Photographers; The Royal Photographic Society and the Society of Wedding Professional Photographers, Steve has also won numerous industry awards for his work. “I’ve always liked photographing people - company directors, models, anyone!” says Steve, “Shooting weddings is just about the best fun you can have - everyone looks great and they’re having a good time, all you have to do is capture that moment!”
